Blueberry pie.Pies seem to solve all problems. They're lovely any time of day, they are homey yet elegant, and even better with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream. I'm a fan.
Things are going better in the kitchen these days. My menu is coming together; I'm figuring out what works and what doesn't. I also got out at a reasonable hour today, which is quite nice indeed. It's a rainy day and I think I'll take a nap this afternoon, I need it.
Friday night I only got 3 hours of sleep because I was at the Jazz festival in downtown Burlington with friends from Wilson, but it was wonderful to see them and I realized I know more people in Vermont than I thought.
