And apple crisp.

Vanilla Brown Butter Apple Crisp

Preheat oven to 350

Mix together in a large bowl and spread out in a 8 or 9 in baking pan:
4 apples, cut
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
pinch of salt

In another bowl mix:
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup coconut, unsweetened
1/4 cup dark brown sugar

Then add:
1/2 cup butter browned with 1 vanilla bean

Sprinkle the crisp topping over the apples and bake for 35-40 minutes.
